A trip dip in the nature that connects Lignano and Grado.

A unique experience to discover the Grado lagoon and some jewels of the lower Friuli area: Aquileia, Strassoldo and Torviscosa. You can cycle through important places linked to the history of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

EXCURSION DETAILS

The excursion begins at the Darsena Porto Vecchio in Lignano Sabbiadoro, where you'll board the TPL FVG ferry* bound for Grado.

Once in Grado, you can explore the charming historic center of this beautiful seaside town, taking in its stunning architecture while enjoying a glass of wine or a delicious seafood dish in one of the many local restaurants.

You’ll then continue your journey by bike to Marano Lagunare, passing through some of Friuli Venezia Giulia's most historically rich locations: Aquileia, an important Roman city; Strassoldo with its castle; and Torviscosa, known for its early 20th-century architecture.

In Marano, a boat service* will be available to take cyclists back to the Old Port Marina of Lignano Sabbiadoro. Alternatively, more experienced cyclists may choose to ride back to Lignano by bike on their own.
