EXCURSION DETAILS

Every Tuesday in summer, from mid-June to mid-September, enjoy an unforgettable bike adventure from Lignano to Bibione and the stunning Val Grande nature reserve, guided by an experienced professional.

The tour departs from the Beach Village (Beach Office 7 – Lignano Sabbiadoro). You'll cross the Tagliamento River by ferry, arriving on the Bibione side, ready to explore new landscapes.

After a scenic ride through the Bibione lighthouse area, you’ll head through the town center towards the beautiful Val Grande Oasis. Here the real adventure begins: you’ll access exclusive trails usually closed to the public, giving you the unique chance to cycle through unspoiled nature.

During the ride, you'll encounter traditional hunting lodges, archaeological remains, fossil dunes, and the ancient fishing valleys once managed by the Republic of Venice, now fully rewilded. The area is rich in wildlife, including vibrant flamingos and many species of migratory birds.

After exploring the rural areas of Bibione, you'll return to Lignano by ferry.

• To take part in the excursion, it is mandatory to wear clothing suitable for outdoor activities.
• The entrance fee to the Val Grande Nature Reserve, amounting to €5, is to be paid by the participant.
• The ticket for the boat connection between Lignano and Bibione, amounting to €1, is also at the participant's expense.
