Excursion to Discover the Val Grande of Bibione

DETAILS ABOUT THE EXCURSION

The departure is set from the Bike Point (beach office 7 – Lignano Sabbiadoro).

You will cross the Tagliamento river thanks to the X-River, the ferry service, and you will disembark on the Venetian side ready to explore new landscapes.

After a first stretch that will take you along the area of the Bibione lighthouse, you cross the center of the resort to head towards the wonderful Val Grande Oasis. Here begins the most fascinating part of the tour: exclusive access to paths normally closed to the public, a unique opportunity to pedal immersed in the most authentic nature!

During the excursion you will be able to admire historic hunting "casoni", archaeological remains, fossil dunes and the ancient fishing valleys of the Serenissima, today completely restored to nature. The area hosts an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including the suggestive pink flamingos and numerous migratory birds.

Once the route through untouched nature is finished, you return to Lignano with the ferry in the direction of the Bike Point.

It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing.

The cost of the entrance ticket to the Val Grande Natural Oasis, equal to 5 euros, is at the expense of the excursionist.

The cost of the ticket for the maritime connection service between Lignano and Bibione, equal to 1 euro, is at the expense of the excursionist.
