Art. 1 - Object of the Service The Management provides customers with safety deposit boxes installed at the beach umbrellas of the Lignano Sabbiadoro Gestioni Spa Beach Offices. These boxes are intended for the temporary safekeeping of small items and personal belongings during their stay on the beach.
Art. 2 - Terms of Use These regulations govern the rental and use of the safety deposit boxes installed at the beach umbrellas in accordance with the following mandatory directives:
- The use of the safe is strictly personal and reserved exclusively for the holder of the beach spot rental agreement.
- Each user is required to verify that the safe is perfectly closed after every insertion or retrieval of items.
- In the case of an electronic system (e.g., wristband/NFC) or a key, the device must be kept with care.
Art. 3 - Permitted Items and Prohibitions
- Only small valuables may be stored inside the safe (e.g., smartphones, keys, documents, wallets, watches).
- It is strictly forbidden to store the following inside the safe:
- Illegal, dangerous, flammable, or explosive substances.
- Cash exceeding a modest amount for daily expenses.
- Items of particularly high value (e.g., jewelry with precious stones, large amounts of money).
- The Management shall not be liable in any way for the theft, loss, or damage of items stored in the safe that violate these provisions.
Art. 4 - Liability
- The service is provided exclusively as a deterrent against quick theft. The safe does not constitute a legally binding high-value depository.
- The Management declines all liability for theft, shortages, or damage caused by the customer's negligence, loss of the opening device, or due to attempts of safe-cracking and tampering by unknown third parties.
- Furthermore, the Management is not liable under any circumstances for thefts occurring during nighttime hours, as the box must be emptied and left open at the end of the day.
Art. 5 - Loss of Device or Code
- In case of loss of the key, forgotten code, or loss of the electronic wristband, the customer must promptly notify the Management or the competent Beach Office.
- The forced unlocking of the safe may only take place in the presence of authorized personnel and, where possible, equipped with a master key.
Art. 6 - Terms and Conditions
- The rental of the safe follows the duration of the beach spot lease.
- Upon expiry of the rental period (or at the end of the day), the safe must be left open and empty to allow cleaning and maintenance operations by the staff.
- The key must be returned by the customer to the Beach Office counter by the closing time of the final day of rental.
- Failure to comply with these rules may result in the revocation of the safekeeping service.
Art. 7 - Availability and Limitations Safety deposit boxes are available in limited numbers. Availability for each beach office is listed below:
- Off. 1 = 5 boxes
- Off. 1bis = 7 boxes
- Off. 1ter/4 = 15 boxes
- Off. 5 = 5 boxes
- Off. 6 = 9 boxes
- Off. 7 = 20 boxes
- Off. 10 = 10 boxes
- Off. 11 = 12 boxes
- Off. 17 = 12 boxes
- Off. 18 = 5 boxes
The service is reserved exclusively for customers occupying a "Standard" or "Oza" model beach umbrella. Exclusions: For technical reasons regarding the compatibility of the attachment system, safety deposit boxes cannot be installed at the Gazebos.
Art. 8 - Booking Method
- Bookings can be made exclusively in person at the Beach Office counters. Online booking is not available.
- The service can only be activated for periods equal to or greater than 5 consecutive days.
Art. 9 - Rates and Discounts
- Standard Rate: €2.00 per day.
- Discounted Rate (Seasonal Customers): For seasonal pass holders, a flat rate of €250.00 is provided for the entire season (equal to approximately €1.75 per day).
Art. 10 - Key Delivery and Deposit The management will maintain 4 copies of the keys for each safety deposit box, which will be distributed as follows:
- 1 copy will remain in storage in the warehouse
- 2 copies will be assigned to the competent beach office
- 1 copy (the original) will be kept at the main headquarters
The key to the box will be delivered to the customer upon full payment of the booked period. Security Deposit: Concurrently with the delivery of the key, a security deposit of €10.00 is required. This amount will be fully refunded upon return of the key at the end of the rental. In case of loss or failure to return the key, the €10.00 deposit will be retained as a flat-rate reimbursement for expenses. An emergency replacement key is provided for each safety deposit box. These keys are kept exclusively inside the beach office safe and will be used by authorized personnel solely and exclusively in the event of loss or theft of the original key delivered to the user.
