The free bike excursions arrive also during Spring!
Spring is the ideal time to explore Lignano Sabbiadoro on two wheels: nature awakens and the climate becomes mild making outdoor activities pleasant.
During this season the bicycle becomes the ideal way to enjoy the beauty of the lush nature, the scent of newly bloomed flowers and the tranquility of the less crowded streets at a slow pace.
For this reason we offer you three days between April and May dedicated to exploring Lignano and the surrounding area by bicycle, where you will be accompanied by one of our professional hiking guides.

Friday, April 26
9.00 am – Cycling excursion to discover Lignano
Starting from Lignano Sabbiadoro we will follow the cycle path up to the Red Lighthouse, with the first breathtaking glimpse of the islands. We will then proceed through the alleys of the dock area to join the cycle path that runs along the Marano Lagoon where for 4 km we will enjoy a raised panoramic view of the Lagoon and the lesser-known residential neighbourhoods. From here we will enter the rays and streets of Lignano Pineta to discover its artistic and architectural beauties sheltered by the refreshing shade of the pines. The return is planned following the entire route of the Lignano seafront.

Friday, April 26
2.30 pm – Lignano Bike & Hike
Starting from Lignano Sabbiadoro we will travel along Lungomare Trieste until entering the cycle path connecting Sabbiadoro and Pineta which crosses the Bell'Italia EFA Village. Here we will make a short stop to admire the only consolidated dunes still present in Lignano! Then, we proceed towards Lignano Riviera through the green corridors inside the pine forest. Once you reach the Viale Tagliamento area, you leave your bicycles for a short trek inside the Pineda Sinistra dune forest, which has a very high environmental, historical and landscape value. After walking under the shade of the pine trees, we pick up our bicycles to return to Sabbiadoro.

Friday, May 10 and May 31
9.00 am – Cycling between the two rivers
Starting from Lignano Sabbiadoro and following the cycle path that leads to Lignano Riviera, you follow the course of the Tagliamento river on a comfortable dirt road through the new cycle path that reaches Gorgo di Latisana. Here we will make a short stop at a local farm where you can visit the vineyards and taste their typical and genuine products. At the end of the tasting we will set off towards the small church of Santa Maria della Neve of Titiano through lush countryside. The return to Lignano will then follow the course of the Stella river: once we reach its mouth we will cycle on the elevated cycle path with an open view of the lagoon up to Aprilia Marittima and finally, crossing the last bridge, we will return to the starting point again.
