Among the countless attractions of Lignano Sabbiadoro's beach, ASD Windsurfing School Gimmi stands out as a true landmark for water sports and windsurfing promotion for nearly forty years. The school gets a fresh update: you can now find us inside the Wind Village, located at Beach Office 6 in the new Sport & Fun area.

Open every day from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM (hours may vary depending on weather and wind conditions), the school welcomes enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels with qualified instructors, multilingual lessons, and cutting-edge equipment.

What’s New: E-Foil and Our Fleet

The biggest highlight of this season is the E-Foil (Electric Wingfoil): a spectacular discipline that allows you to "fly" above the water thanks to a quiet electric motor and a hydrofoil wing. A futuristic, adrenaline-pumping experience you simply have to try!

Our fleet features specialized equipment for both lessons and rentals:

• E-Foils / Electric Wingfoils: This year's top novelty to experience the thrill of soaring above the sea.
• SUP Boards (Stand Up Paddle): Ideal for a relaxing ride or joining our guided tours.
• Windsurfs: Perfect for learning the art of windsurfing or refining your technique.
• Canoes: For a relaxing paddle along the coast.

We offer private and group lessons for SUP, canoe, windsurfing, wingfoil, and E-Foil, as well as tailored activities for groups and summer camps.

SUP Excursions and the Magical Moon Light Tour

SUP takes center stage in our group excursions, available both during the day and in the evening. Paddling standing up on your board, you can reach pristine spots and postcard-worthy views accessible only by sea—such as the Stella River Mouth Nature Reserve, Shell Island (Isola delle Conchiglie), and the reed beds of the Tagliamento River.

The most enchanting event of the season remains the famous Moon Light: a sunset SUP excursion organized in collaboration with other local beach centers. Dozens of paddlers glide together towards a set destination to enjoy refreshments at traditional Lignano spots, before paddling back under the moonlight.
