Water Sports Sferasub

Founded in 2008 in Lignano Sabbiadoro by a group of friends, Sferasub has become a benchmark in the world of scuba diving in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Expert and passionate instructors created a project that combines technical training, hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to environmental awareness.

Sferasub offers a 360° diving experience, with guided dives and courses for all levels, from beginner to professional. From first pool trials to professional certifications, each course is customized to fit the schedules and needs of participants.

Our offerings include:

• Recreational, technical, and sidemount courses
• BISD (Basic Diving Education) courses
• First Aid training
• Courses specifically designed for people with disabilities
• Official SNSI Instructor Training Center (Scuba and Nitrox Safety International)

Sferasub is not only a scuba school: it’s also about environmental education, social engagement, and active citizenship. They’ve taken part in conferences, events, and initiatives, collaborating with local and regional institutions for the protection of the marine ecosystem and coastal areas.

Through various open events, including Introductory Diving Trials, they’ve given many – including people with disabilities – the chance to experience the thrill of “breathing underwater” for the first time.
