L.HUBpark is a public park in the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro. It features two soccer fields, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a skate park, and a road safety training area (for rollerblades, scooters, bicycles, etc.). The park also features green areas with picnic tables, perfect for birthday parties, snacks, and more.
L.HUBpark offers the following services:
- the Youth Information Center, which provides advice and guidance on training and work in Italy and abroad;
- the Youth Center, which offers leisure activities, workshops, courses, events, and a music rehearsal room;
- the Skate Park;
- The office dedicated to school catering and school transportation services
The name L.HUB was chosen by the young people of Lignano themselves in 2016. Combining the concepts of a pivot, a laboratory, the spiral that identifies the city of Lignano, and its initial (L), they created the L.HUB brand: a spiral originating from a point, the center from which everything begins and the pivot around which L.HUB revolves = LAB (abbreviation for laboratory) + HUB (the pivot of a wheel, or fulcrum in English).
