The maritime connection between Lignano Sabbiadoro and Grado is a summer public transport service operated by APT Gorizia in collaboration with TPL FVG, offering a convenient and comfortable way to travel between the two main seaside resorts of Friuli Venezia Giulia aboard a motorboat.
The service runs from June to mid-October (excluding Mondays), with two daily departures from Lignano and two from Grado.
In addition to being a valid alternative to car travel, the crossing offers a unique experience in the heart of the lagoon: a scenic journey through calm waters, natural landscapes, and views stretching all the way to the Adriatic Sea.
The service is also ideal for cycling enthusiasts: bicycles can be taken on board, allowing passengers to continue their journey on two wheels and explore the many cycling routes around Lignano and Grado — or even extend the adventure by boarding the Grado–Aquileia maritime connection.
Departures from Lignano Sabbiadoro take place at the “Sbarco dei Pirati” dock in the Porto Vecchio Marina, and the service is carried out aboard the motorboat Rosa dei Venti.
