The 2021 Mosaic Symposium represents an opportunity for all those who approach the seafront of Lignano Pineta, to get to know how a mosaic work is made. The choice of embellishing the beach offices using one of the oldest artistic techniques in the world is certainly due to the fact that this technique guarantees a certain conservation over time.
Specifically, bathroom 1 in Lignano Pineta will be embellished with a work conceived by the artist Carlo Ciussi which will be created in collaboration with the Mosaic School of Friuli in Spilimbergo (PN). This initiative was and is made possible by Giorgio Ardito, president of the Lignano Pineta Society.
The opportunity to observe the creation of the mosaic will be possible until 11 am on Sunday 27 June, the deadline for the completion of the work which will be officially inaugurated with the title "Omaggio a Carlo Ciussi".
