Adria Inclusive Games 2020

From 14th to 17th May 2020 in Lignano Sabbiadoro the sporting event will be renewed which will involve athletes from 9 regions.

After the great success of the last editions, the "Bella Italia & EFA Village" will be the venue for the fifth edition of the non-competitive sporting event ADRIA INCLUSIVE GAMES 2020, an event that will involve athletes with intellectual / relational disabilities.

The athletes will compete in two competitive matches, "5-a-side soccer cup" and "C21 category basketball trophy". For all there will be the opportunity to experiment with other sports (Judo, Karate, Parahockey, Tennis Tavoolo, Swimming, Archery and Sailing) which will be held in integrated mode according to the "Mixed Ability" program to which Sport21 Italia has joined by signing the manifesto.

The Mixed Ability Model promotes social inclusion through education, encouraging players of all abilities to become members of sports clubs in traditional activities. The model represents an innovative and radical approach to the wider social inclusion.

Sports and educational activities aim to create a totally inclusive and safe environment for all participants, regardless of age, gender, past experience or ability.

PROGRAM:

Thursday 14th May 2020
- From 8.00 am to 2.00 pm: Arrival of the teams, accreditation and accommodation
- From 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm: Composition of teams, delivery of materials and bib numbers
- 9.00 pm: Opening ceremony and welcome evening

Friday 15th May 2020
- From 9.00 am to 6.00 pm: Training and competitions on the sport facilities
- 9.00 pm: Entertainment show

Saturday 16th May 2020
- From 9.00 am to 6.00 pm: Training and competitions on the sport facilities
- 9.00 pm: Entertainment show
