Pupi & Pini: Senti che musica!

“Pupi & Pini” returns to Lignano in 2026 – the street and puppet theatre festival dedicated to families. All shows are designed for a family audience. The common thread of the festival is the close connection between children’s literature and live performance, with many artists celebrated for their skill and creativity in scenic arts. The programme ranges from traditional oral tales to classic fairy tales, novels, and contemporary children’s stories.

On Monday, July 27, the show "Senti che musica!" (Feel the Music!), performed by Ortoteatro Soc. coop. Pordenone, will take place in Piazza Ursella in Lignano Sabbiadoro. It's a big challenge: singing and narrating the songs of great Italian singer-songwriters like Fabrizio De Andrè, Francesco Guccini, and Giorgio Gaber to an audience ranging from 4 to 99 years old. The show's underlying theme is living well in our land. It speaks of peace and the protection of nature, and of poetry in music. And so, on stage, the stories of "The Old Man and the Child," "Samarcanda," and "The Ballad of Geordie" alternate with the fun of "Guarda Come Dondolo" and "Vengo anch'io! No tu no!" (I'm coming too!). The stories are told, sung, and played with the help of the audience, without ever falling into banality, because even play can become poetic, emotional, and fun.

The performance will begin at 9:30 PM.
Free admission.

Event organized by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro in collaboration with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Spiaggia Viva Cuore Consortium and the Library of Lignano Sabbiadoro. Artistic direction of the Ortoteatro società cooperativa Pordenone.
