Pupi & Pini: Cuccioli e il dinosauro di Maga Cornacchia

“Pupi & Pini” returns to Lignano in 2026 – the street and puppet theatre festival dedicated to families.
All shows are designed for a family audience. The common thread of the festival is the close connection between children’s literature and live performance, with many artists celebrated for their skill and creativity in scenic arts. The programme ranges from traditional oral tales to classic fairy tales, novels, and contemporary children’s stories.

Monday, August 24th at 9:00 PM in Hemingway Park in Lignano Pineta with "Cuccioli e il Dinosauro di Maga Cornacchia" (Cuccioli and the Dinosaur of Maga Cornacchia), a street performance and puppet theater show, produced by Gruppo Alcuni and Rai Kids. "Happy Birthday Cuccioli!" is a theatrical performance celebrating the beloved cartoon airing on Rai Yoyo and Rai Play. The story features the Boss, the Assistant, and the Cuccioli, who unite to save the Talking Trees Park from the sinister plans of Maga Cornacchia and her terrifying dinosaur. Thanks to the special participation of the Cuccioli mascots, children will have the unique opportunity to meet their favorite characters up close, interacting, singing, and dancing with them in an extremely engaging event.

The festival is organised by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro in collaboration with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Lignano Sabbiadoro Library. Artistic direction by Ortoteatro società cooperativa Pordenone.
