Pupi & Pini: Canzoncine

“Pupi & Pini” returns to Lignano in 2026 – the street and puppet theatre festival dedicated to families.
All shows are designed for a family audience. The common thread of the festival is the close connection between children’s literature and live performance, with many artists celebrated for their skill and creativity in scenic arts. The programme ranges from traditional oral tales to classic fairy tales, novels, and contemporary children’s stories.

Wednesday, August 26th at 9:00 PM in Piazza Ursella in Lignano Sabbiadoro with "Canzoncine," a street performance and puppet theater by the Carlo Pastori Company. The show is a true concert-party designed to engage the whole family, from children to grandparents. The storyteller, alone on stage with his accordion, a few objects, and a few hats, performs a repertoire of children's songs developed over a decade, including famous pieces such as "Il ballo del cowboy" and "Gli alberi." Through musical animation techniques and listening sessions, the show engages with the audience to create a cheerful, lively, and engaging atmosphere.

Admission is free.

The festival is organised by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro in collaboration with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Lignano Sabbiadoro Library. Artistic direction by Ortoteatro Società cooperativa Pordenone.
