Fly on the Beach: International Athletics Takes Center Stage in Lignano Sabbiadoro
On Saturday, August 29th, 2026, "Fly on the Beach" returns to Piazza Marcello D'Olivo in Lignano Pineta. This spectacular international pole vaulting event is part of the Events Athletics Promotion (EAP) circuit and is organized by ASD Lupignanum Track & Field.
Male and female athletes across various categories will compete in a breathtaking setting just steps from the sea. The day will be packed with excitement, starting in the afternoon and culminating in evening showcase matches among top athletes, alongside a special section dedicated to children.
Competition Schedule
- 4:00 PM (Check-in 3:00 PM): Group 1
- 5:30 PM (Meeting time 5:00 PM): Fly Kids – A special initiative featuring pole vaulting and vortex throw dedicated to primary school children.
- 7:00 PM: Group 2
- 9:30 PM: TOP Competition – A high-level showdown featuring the top 6 male and top 6 female athletes.
