An Enduro Sprint lasting two days where the best Italian specialists and some top foreign riders will be concentrating on the Enduro World Championships, challenging themselves during the opening event of the Italian 2015 Championships.
The Federation, together with the promoting company, will introduce some experimental elements to the race formula for this championship - as well as subsequent ones - so as to make the speciality even more engaging for riders and the public.
The race will take place over three stages (PS), two daytime ones and a nighttime one.
The first PS (PS 1), lasting around 10/12 minutes, on the beach, will be a special daytime stage. It will involve the riders starting off one at a time throughout all of Saturday and Sunday morning. It is almost exclusively flat terrain, but some jumps will be executed in places that are visible to the public to heighten the show.
The second PS (PS 2), lasting around 5/6 minutes, will be set-up in the adjacent Lunapark on Viale Europa. This will also take place during the day. It will involve the riders starting off one at a time throughout all of Saturday and Sunday morning. It is almost exclusively flat, dirt terrain.
The thirds PS (PS 3), lasting around 2 minutes, will be set-up on the beach to the east of Terrazza a Mare. It will be a nightime stage and it will involve the contemporaneous participation of 15/20 riders starting off in motocross style. This stage will be characterised with "extreme" style natural and artificial obstacles
On Sunday afternoon an ENDURO COUNTRY MARATHON type event will be organised, making use of the PS 1 part, set-up to the west of Terrazza a Mare.
