EASY FISH – The Northern Adriatic Sea Fish Festival returns to Lignano Sabbiadoro for its 7th edition

A weekend with a taste of the sea dedicated to local fish with regional specialities, show cooking and street food.

Easy Fish - the Northern Adriatic Fish Festival has reached its 7th edition. On 1st, 2nd, 3rd September in Lignano Sabbiadoro in the square in front of the Terrazza Mare and on Lungomare Trieste the best local products will meet the skill of starred chefs and restaurateurs of the area, to create unique dishes. When the quality of the products meets talent, an unforgettable show is assured: Easy Fish - The Northern Adriatic Fish Festival.


The show is presented by the voice of Fabrizio Nonis, known as "El Bekèr", butcher, expert gastronome and famous face of Italian culinary programs.


The special guest of the inauguration of the event on Friday 1st September is Mara Navarria, Italian fencing champion and bronze medalist at the Tokyo Olympics.

In the square in front of the Terrazza a Mare you will find:

The Gourmet Area

The excellence of the Northern Adriatic fish transformed by the hands of the greatest chefs

The restaurants La Pigna in Lignano Pineta, Mandi-Parentesi Friulana in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Al Bancut in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Al Cason in Lignano Pineta and Da Boschet in Gorgo di Latisana, which adhere to the Wine and Flavors Route of Friuli Venezia Giulia, will offer two recipes each for tasting, the result of the four-handed collaboration with leading chefs on the national scene. The culinary proposal will also be combined with regional wines, which are also part of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine and Flavors Route circuit.

The tasting itinerary can be purchased at the event for the price of € 35 and includes 5 tasting dishes and 5 free pairing wines.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6.30pm to 9.15pm Gourmet Area opening, from 5.00pm to 9.00pm cash desk opening.


New: there will be an exhibition house with some of the Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia branded products, which promotes the excellence of the regional territory.

The Showcooking Area

When the taste become a show!

In the Gourmet Area every evening at 7.00pm and 8.30pm will take place special free cooking shows presented by Fabrizio Nonis. Chefs and tv stars of the most famous cooking TV programs will collaborate with local chefs in the making of recipes in which the main ingredient is fish from the Northern Adriatic Sea.

Every evening at 8.30pm the Star Chefs will create their recipes and will serve mini-tastings. From Cristiano Tomei, judge in the most famous culinary television programs, to Vito Bicocchi, famous comedian and now host of various TV programs and Antonio Lorenzon, winner of the 9th edition of Masterchef.


The Regional Winery

Each recipe finds a match in a regional wine that enhances its flavours.

During the three days, the Regional Winery will be present within the Gourmet Area, offering the possibility of combining fine wines from local companies from the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine and Flavors Route with tastings.

The Street Food Area

Fish & Regional Street Food: the taste of fish and regional specialties for all

On the Lungomare Trieste you will find the Street Food Area with selected exhibitors who will offer recipes based on fish and regional products: oysters combined with tasty craft beers, delicious fish burgers, the more traditional mixed fried, sushi and fusion cuisine with an exotic flavour, paella and fish tapas and finally an all-local proposal with stewed cuttlefish and tuna steak.

Friday from 6.00pm to 12.00pm– Saturday and Sunday from 12.00am to 12.00pm.


The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro and it is organized by Lignano Sabbiadoro Gestioni in collaboration with the IO SONO FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA brand which includes restaurateurs and producers of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine and Flavors Route.
