On the weekend of 6–7 September 2025, Lignano Sabbiadoro hosts the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Lignano Alpine Group—an important occasion that honors six decades of commitment, tradition, and community service.
The program begins on Saturday 6 September at 9:00 PM with a concert by the A.N.A. Sectional Choir of Codroipo, taking place at the Duomo (Piazzale San Giovanni Bosco).
The commemorative day continues on Sunday 7 September:
- 9:30 AM – Gathering at the Group’s headquarters in Via Palestro 51
- 10:00 AM – Welcome speeches by civil and military authorities, participation of Alpine groups, and laying of floral tributes
- 10:30 AM – Parade formation and march to the Town Hall (Piazzale Divisione Julia), with the flag-raising ceremony, official addresses, and Holy Mass
- Following – Tribute to the fallen with wreath-laying at the monument and parade through the town center
The celebrations will be accompanied by the A.N.A. Sectional Fanfare of Udine, providing vibrant musical accompaniment.
A moment of reflection and togetherness to celebrate the values of solidarity, service, and community that have always defined the Alpini.
