Experiencing live one of the ensembles that has shaped the history of international chamber music over the past three decades is a unique experience, as well as a prestigious occasion for the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro. Interpretative quality, cohesion, and stylistic research are their distinctive hallmarks.

Founded in 1990 and trained with the legendary Trio di Trieste at the Fiesole School of Music and the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Trio di Parma is now considered one of the most authoritative chamber ensembles on the international scene.

Their success in major international competitions, including the “Vittorio Gui” in Florence, the Melbourne International Competition, the ARD Competition in Munich, and the Lyon Competition, along with the awarding of the “Premio Abbiati” in 1994 as Best Chamber Ensemble by the Italian music critics, confirmed their leading role unequivocally.

Since then, the Trio di Parma has been a regular guest of prestigious musical institutions: Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Società del Quartetto di Milano, Amici della Musica di Firenze, Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, as well as legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London, Berlin Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Vienna, and Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.

Their discography is equally significant: from Beethoven, Brahms, and Schubert to Ravel, Shostakovich, Pizzetti, Liszt, and Dvořák, recorded for Decca, Stradivarius, and Amadeus, and widely acclaimed by international critics.
