Pupi & Pini: Oh! Il Libro Che Fa Dei Suoni

For the 30 years of "Pupi & Pini", the festival of street and figure theatre, a special event is planned with various shows at the same time and with multiple performances. All shows are aimed at a family audience. The underlying theme of the exhibition is the close link between children's literature and live entertainment, with many artists who have distinguished themselves for their professionalism and skill in scenic art, ranging from oral tradition fairy tales to novels, from classical literature fairy tales to texts more contemporary.

On Monday 5 August at the Hemingway Park the company Catalyst from Florence will represent "Oh" Il libro che fa dei suoni", a circus and theatre show by and with Daniele Giangreco and Edoardo Nardin. Loosely based on "Oh! Il libro che fa dei suoni" by Hervé Tullet.

The book is the real main character of the show and it becomes the protagonist of the scene: it can be read but also inhabited, played with, listened to, transformed, lightened up, thrown, broken. And what if this game left the book?

The show will start at 9.00 pm.
