Pupi & Pini: Enrichetta dal ciuffo

“Pupi & Pini” returns in 2025, the street and puppet theatre festival dedicated to families. All shows are aimed at a family audience. The common thread of the festival is the strong link between children's literature and live performance, with many artists known for their talent and professionalism in the scenic arts, from traditional oral tales to novels, classic fairy tales to contemporary texts.

Monday, August 25 at Parco Hemingway in Lignano Pineta, Teatro Perdavvero presents the storytelling and live music show “Enrichetta dal Ciuffo”, with Marco Cantori and Giacomo Fantoni, directed by Marco Cantori and produced by Accademia Perduta/Romagna Teatri.

In a castle, a queen gives birth to a very ugly baby girl with a tuft of hair on her head, so the parents decide to name her Enrichetta dal Ciuffo. A fairy who is present makes a prophecy: “As ugly as this girl is, she will be just as intelligent and charming, and everyone will love to be around her. She will also have the gift of making the one she loves more than anyone else become intelligent and charming too.”

Meanwhile, in a nearby kingdom on the other side of the forest, another queen gives birth to a baby boy. The child is so beautiful that people aren’t sure if he’s a boy or an angel; he has a stunning smile, so they name him Clemente Beldente. But he has a blank stare and is very slow, so much so that people begin to mock him.
The encounter between Enrichetta dal Ciuffo and Clemente Beldente in the middle of the forest will change both of their destinies.
