Pupi & Pini: Affetto d'Amore

For the 30 years of "Pupi & Pini", the festival of street and figure theatre, a special event is planned with various shows at the same time and with multiple performances. All shows are aimed at a family audience. The underlying theme of the exhibition is the close link between children's literature and live entertainment, with many artists who have distinguished themselves for their professionalism and skill in scenic art, ranging from oral tradition fairy tales to novels, from classical literature fairy tales to texts more contemporary.

On Wednesday, July 23, at the Lignano Sabbiadoro Library, Franco Di Bernardino presents “Affetto d’Amore”, a street theatre and juggling show.

Mr. Mustache is a man driven by a single, stubborn goal: finding love. He wants to be charming, but he's awkward. He dreams of being a modern Casanova, but all he has is a red rose and a vintage look.

The show tells the love story between Mr. Mustache and a woman chosen from the audience. Along a hilarious “via crucis” of unexpected mishaps, clumsy mistakes, and desperate fixes with colorful patches and duct tape, our hero will try to win his beloved's heart.
But in the paths of love, surprises are always lurking…
