Pupi & Pini - 30 years special: Lungomare Lungoungiorno

For the 30 years of "Pupi & Pini", the festival of street and figure theatre, a special event is planned with various shows at the same time and with multiple performances. All shows are aimed at a family audience. The underlying theme of the exhibition is the close link between children's literature and live entertainment, with many artists who have distinguished themselves for their professionalism and skill in scenic art, ranging from oral tradition fairy tales to novels, from classical literature fairy tales to texts more contemporary.

On Wednesday 21 August on the Seafront of Trieste there will be the 30-years special event Lungomare Lungoungiorno, starting from 8.00 pm.
The event involves the traditional puppet show "Il rapimento di Principe Carlo", presented by the Teatro del Drago. By and with Mauro and Andrea Monticelli.
There will be the puppet show "Carletto e l'uovo d'oro" by and with Mariasole Brusa and the string puppet show "Storie appese a un filo" by and with Gianluca Palma.
Moreover there will be the circus and clown show "La Route" by and with Erika Salamone and the puppet show "Le disavventure di Pippogrifo" by and with Esther Grigoli.

The theatre company Corniani presents "Le avventure nel pollaio", an animated on-sight puppet show by and with Maurizio and Cesare Corniani.
There will be "Il teatro di strada di JF" by and with Gianfranco Vinci.

Free entry.

Event organized by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro in collaboration with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Spiaggia Viva Cuore Consortium and the Library of Lignano Sabbiadoro. Artistic direction of the Teatro del Drago in Ravenna.
