The traditional sporting event dedicated to young athletes returns to Lignano Sabbiadoro: the 6th Youth Meeting “City of Lignano Sabbiadoro”, this year coinciding with Mennea Day, the national day in memory of the great champion Pietro Mennea.
The competition, valid as the 5th round of the Modena Trophy, will see boys and girls competing in different athletics disciplines, in a context of sport, friendship and fair play.
A special opportunity to celebrate youth athletics and remember the legendary achievement of Pietro Mennea, who stopped the clock at the historic 19”72 in the 200 meters.
The event is open to everyone and promoted by Lupignanum Track & Field, in collaboration with Libertas Udine, the Italian Athletics Federation – C.P. Udine, AICS, the City of Lignano Sabbiadoro and numerous local partners.
A day of sport and fun for young athletes, families and fans, with Lignano Sabbiadoro once again as the stage for great emotions!
