Lignano Sabbiadoro kicks off the Golden Retriever Family season!
The first major national gathering of the year arrives on Friday, May 9, 2026 in Lignano Sabbiadoro. A day dedicated to families, enthusiasts, and, of course, our four-legged friends, in one of Italy's most pet-friendly locations.
Daily Program
- 10:30 AM | Opening & Activities: Gathering at Doggy Beach. The morning and early afternoon will focus on socialization and canine well-being with beach activities and an exhibition area featuring stands from Golden Retriever Family, Oasy, Hundog, and Babalù.
- 4:00 PM | Super Golden Aperitif: Moving towards Punta Faro for a social moment dedicated to all participating families.
- 5:30 PM | The Golden Parade: The most anticipated highlight! A spectacular parade through the heart of Lignano. The procession will start from Punta Faro, walk along Lungomare Marin and Via Italia, and then parade down the central Via Udine.
- Closing: The walk will conclude at Parco San Giovanni Bosco.
The event is designed to be a peaceful and inclusive experience. Official volunteers will be present throughout the day to support the organization, ensure the safety of dogs and children, and coordinate with local authorities.
