As part of Easy Fish – The Festival of Upper Adriatic Seafood, on Saturday, 6 September 2025 at 9:45 PM a special event will take place at the Beach Village, Lignano Sabbiadoro: GeGè Telesforo with his brand-new live project.
It is a return to the artist’s roots, paying tribute to the blues and the jazz-groovy sounds of the late 1950s, while also celebrating the legendary Big Mama, the historic Rome music club that, from the 1980s until its final closure during the pandemic, was a landmark for generations of musicians.
“I felt the call of the wild – says GeGè – after dreaming, during the pandemic, of playing an irresistible shuffle-blues at the Big Mama in Trastevere with all my friends there. Duke Ellington used to say: Tonight, we will play you some blues, and some… not blues!. Well, that’s exactly what we will do too.”
On stage at the Beach Village, together with GeGè Telesforo (vocals and percussion), will perform Giovanni Cutello on alto sax, Christian Mascetta on guitars, Vittorio Solimene on organ and keyboards, Michele Santoleri on drums, and Pietro Pancella on bass.
