The Lignano Summer Live Festival 2025 is proud to announce the fourth event of the summer series, featuring one of the most iconic voices in Italian pop music: on Monday, August 4, Francesco Renga will take the stage at the Beach Arena in Lignano Sabbiadoro (beach office n.5) for a special free concert under the stars.
Born on June 12, 1968 in Udine, Francesco Renga is an acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter known for his powerful voice and long-standing career that began in the 1980s. He started out as the lead vocalist of the rock band Timoria, with whom he released seven studio albums between 1990 and 1997. After leaving the band in 1998, he launched his solo career with his self-titled debut album in 2000.
Renga rose to national prominence in 2005, winning the Sanremo Music Festival with the hit song “Angelo”. He returned to Sanremo in later editions, including in 2014 with “Vivendo adesso” and in 2024 in a duet with Nek, performing “Pazzo di te”.
Among his most successful albums are Tempo reale (2014), which topped the Italian charts, and Scriverò il tuo nome (2016). In 2023, he reunited with Nek for the collaborative album RengaNek.
The concert promises to be an unforgettable evening of live music, featuring Renga’s most beloved songs and iconic ballads that have shaped the recent history of Italian music.
The event is organized by Lignano Sabbiadoro Gestioni S.p.A. in collaboration with the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
Admission is free, no reservation required. Access is available until capacity is reached.
