Extreme concert

On July 31, 2025, at the Arena Alpe Adria in Lignano Sabbiadoro, as part of the Lignano Sunset Festival, Extreme, the American hard rock band with over 10 million records sold worldwide, will take the stage.

The event will start at 8:00 PM with an opening act, which will be announced soon.

Extreme was formed in 1985 in Boston, Massachusetts. Led by the charismatic frontman Gary Cherone and the guitar virtuoso Nuno Bettencourt, the band is known for blending hard rock, funk, and progressive influences. After their debut album in 1989, they achieved success with Pornograffitti (1990), driven by the acoustic ballad “More Than Words”, which became a ’90s classic. Their subsequent albums, III Sides to Every Story (1992) and Waiting for the Punchline (1995), showcased a more sophisticated evolution of their style.

After a long hiatus, Extreme returned in the 2000s, releasing Saudades de Rock (2008), and, after fifteen years, Six (2023), reaffirming themselves as a band with impeccable technique and unrelenting energy. With their mix of melody, power, and virtuosity, Extreme remains a reference point in the international rock scene.

Tickets for the event, organized by Zenit Srl, in collaboration with Città di Lignano Sabbiadoro, Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, and PromoTurismoFVG, will be available for presale on the band’s website from 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, and for general sale on Ticketone and Vivaticket from 11:00 AM on Friday, February 28.
