From 19 to 24 September 2025, the Bella Italia EFA Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro will host a major international event of Powerchair Football, the football discipline designed for athletes using electric wheelchairs.
For one week, the seaside resort in Friuli Venezia Giulia will become the meeting point for teams, coaches and fans from different countries, ready to compete in a tournament dedicated to sport, inclusion and the passion for football.
Powerchair Football is much more than just a game: it is an internationally recognised discipline that combines competitiveness, strategy and excitement, giving people with motor disabilities the opportunity to experience the thrill of the world’s most loved team sport.
This event is also a valuable opportunity to promote the values of integration, equal opportunities and sharing, which have always characterised Lignano Sabbiadoro as a city attentive to sport and hospitality.
