From 4 to 7 September, Easy Fish – The Alto Adriatico Fish Festival returns to Lignano Sabbiadoro
Lignano’s most delicious culinary event is back, combining exciting new features with cherished traditions!
Easy Fish, the event dedicated to cuisine, the food and wine excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the fish of the Upper Adriatic, returns in 2025 for its ninth edition.
The traditional Alto Adriatico Fish Festival will enliven Lignano Sabbiadoro from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 September 2025, in a charming setting stretching between Lungomare Trieste, the Beach Village and Beach Office 7.
Once again, this edition will be hosted and presented by Fabrizio Nonis, also known as El Bekér – butcher, food expert, and well-known face from Italian culinary TV shows.
Four dedicated areas will offer visitors a 360° experience:

Street Food Area
Fish & Regional Street Food: The taste of fish and regional specialties for evrybody
The Fish & Regional Street Food Area will be dedicated to the world of fish and regional delicacies. This year’s six exhibitors, both local and regional, will offer dishes ranging from traditional mixed fried fish to tasty fish burgers, from the intriguing pairing of oysters and craft beer to the classic fish & chips.

Showcooking Area
Where flavour becomes pure entertainment
At the Beach Village (beach office 7 in Sabbiadoro) will be set up the Showcooking Area, where on both evenings will be held special free showcooking sessions with the participation of great local chefs, well-known faces from the most famous cooking TV programs and guests of 'exception and presented by Fabrizio Nonis.
From 4 to 6 September, Lignano Sabbiadoro will become the stage for major culinary performances with six unmissable showcooking events blending the skills of local chefs with the charisma of famous TV culinary personalities.
At the Showcooking Area – set up right on the sand – free special showcooking sessions will be presented by Fabrizio Nonis.
Every evening from 7:00 PM, the audience can enjoy an “8-hand showcooking”: four chefs from top restaurants in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Friuli Venezia Giulia will present recipes inspired by the region’s culinary treasures – the sea, the inland, and the mountains – created exclusively for the event.
From 8:30 PM, the spotlight will shine on entertainment, live cooking and interaction with celebrity guests, mixing recipes, stories, and plenty of fun.
At the beach office 7 you will find:
Regional wine bar
Each recipe is paired with a regional wine that enhances its flavours
The third of the identifying areas of this edition of Easy Fish will be the Regional Wine Bar located in a special space adjacent to the show area where, with their feet in the sand, guests will be able to sip the best wine labels of the Wine and Flavor Route from Friuli Venezia Giulia selected and presented by AIS sommeliers.
For the occasion, will also be set up a lounge area near the Regional Enoteca to allow guests to taste the dishes and wines chosen in total relaxation surrounded by a magical atmosphere.
Gourmet Area
The excellence of Alto Adriatico fish, enhanced by great chefs
On the sand at Beach Village (Beach Office 7), the Gourmet Area will be a true paradise for food lovers. Twelve renowned restaurants from the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Friuli Venezia Giulia will prepare refined recipes using fresh fish and top-quality regional products.
Each evening will be a unique culinary journey:
- Thursday 4 September – The Sea: dive into the authentic flavours of the Upper Adriatic.
- Friday 5 September – The Inland: a journey through tradition and creativity tied to the Friulian land.
Saturday 6 September – The Mountains: aromas and ingredients from high-altitude cuisine.
The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro, is organized by Lignano Sabbiadoro Gestioni in collaboration with the IO SONO FRIULI VENEZIA brand and the artistic direction of Sconfinando in the person of Fabrizio Nonis and his team.
