From 10th July a new maritime link between Lignano and Grado
Saturday 10th July is the date chosen for the departure of the new public maritime transport line between Lignano and Grado. An experimental strategic choice that is part of the Mimosa project and that belongs to the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program.
The two localities of Lignano Sabbiadoro and Grado will be connected by four daily services, two for the outward journey and two for the return journey, from Tuesday to Sunday until 10th October.
The timetable will be structured in such a way as to be complementary to the Trieste-Grado line, thus giving the possibility to travel by sea from Trieste to Lignano (and vice versa) within the day. A truly advantageous service that sees the possibility of carrying your own bicycle on board.
In particular:
10.07.2021 - 02.08.2021
Departure from LIGNANO at 8.30am - 5.15pm
Departure from GRADO at 10.15am - 7:00pm
03.08.2021 - 03.10.2021
Departure from LIGNANO at 8.00am - 5.45pm
Departure from GRADO at 9.45am - 7.30pm
For the summer of 2021 the one-way Lignano-Grado will cost €7.20, while the return ticket will cost €10.80.
Not to be underestimated are the season tickets: the 10 rides will cost € 28.80, while the 50 rides will cost € 57.60. The rate for transporting the bicycle is € 0.90 instead.
Owners of FVG Card are entitled to a free return trip for an adult with a child under 12.
