Golden Retriever Meeting

The third Golden Retriever meeting in Lignano Sabbiadoro will be held on 25 May 2024 at Punta Faro Beach! Starting from 10.30am it will be possible to admire more than 180 Golden Retrievers parading, playing and wagging their tails on the beach.

2024 Program

10.30am Meeting at the Doggy beach in Lignano Sabbiadoro, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic equipped specifically for dogs. Games on the beach and "May the Best Golden Win" activities, demonstrations and small shows, thanks to the participation of some dog centers in the Friuli Territory who have decided to collaborate with us.

4.30pm Aperitif and ritual photo at the Bar Punta Faro, where the entire place is reserved for our event. Here we will dedicate ourselves to a moment of relaxation tasting a delicious aperitif facing the sea.

5.30pm Parade through the center of Lignano which will be covered by regional TV and by our advertising agency "Zampe Diverse" and by the association's social pages. This moment has always been the most requested and awaited by both adults and children. The parade through the center of Lignano will start from Punta Faro, will run alongside Lungomare Marin until arriving in the Terrazza a Mare square, Piazza Fontana and Via Udine. We will stop in front of the church and a group photo will be taken which will become the icon of the gathering.

8.45pm Gala dinner on the beach with surprise show at the Playa Beach Restaurant.

The evening will be masterfully presented by Debora Zanon and Debora Moretto, and special guests will take turns on stage to make the event even more memorable. Not just a gathering, but an unforgettable party!

To each dog that participates will be given a Golden Kit, containing gadgets from the event.
The Golden Retriever Family Meeting thus becomes an essential event for dog lovers and for those who wish to live a unique experience in the splendid setting of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

Debora and Debora are the founders of the first Italian Golden Retriever association: Debora Zanon is president of the association and is an insurer expert in the pet world, as well as mother of Flipper, an 8-year-old Golden Retriever. Debora Moretto, together with her Golden Retriever Otto, is recognized on social media with the page @amicidiotto which boasts over 36.5 thousand followers.
The Golden Retriever Family association was founded with the aim of increasing knowledge of this wonderful breed and sharing authentic experiences through gatherings.
