The sand between your toes, the stars above your head, the smell of salty air and the lapping of the waves - these are the main elements that characterise the Beach Arena. It is the perfect location for concerts on the beach in Lignano Sabbiadoro, all for free!

Check out the summer events program. From the end of May to the beginning of September the calendar is rich of music and sport events with international artists.

In the Beach Arena in Sabbiadoro or in Lignano Pineta in Piazza Marcello d'Olivo where the stage situated in front of the busy and crowded Tenda Bar is the epicenter of the night entertainment. From June to early September the program includes concerts under the stars, variety shows and comic entertainers.

Another important location for Lignano Sabbiadoro concert nights is the suggestive Arena Alpe Adria, that has been for long time the place where Festivalbar show took place.

Also the Municipal Stadium G. Teghil is the stage of big concerts under the stars.

After sunbathing, fun and water sports on the beach in Lignano, sunset marks the end of the day and night life begins.

For those who want to hang out longer on the beach, there are cocktail bars on the strand, where you can sip a spritz or a cosmopolitan still in your swimming suit, with beach hair and the sun on your skin.

Terrazza a Mare in Lignano Sabbiadoro offers a fantastic view of the sunset, while Tahiri and Punta Faro Beach look onto the picturesque Faro Rosso. At MO.VI.L in Lignano Pineta you can sip a pre-dinner drink under the straw parasols with a view of the Pagoda.

Lignano town centre offers a wide range of bars where you can order alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks: Piazza Fontana is the heart of the local night life with lots of bars which while open all day come alive with youths in the evening who stay until late  . In Lignano Pineta aperitif fans meet in the huge Bar Tenda or at the “trenino”, the row of bars, shops and pizzerias that links Lungomare Kechler with Piazza Rosa dei Venti.

Roman in origin, Marano Lagunare reached its peak in the past under the Aquileia Patriarchs. From 1420 to 1797 it was a Venetian fortress for Venice. The architectural structure of the town bears testament to this history.

A stop on the Isola delle Conchiglie is planned for the return. It is a natural barrier that marks the border between the sea and the lagoon where you can admire the, as yet, untouched beach, with the option of going for a swim. An original trip planned with fun in mind, much to the joy of adults and children alike.

From mid-June to mid-September, Monday to Friday, the boat leaves from the Porto Vecchio Dock in Lignano Sabbiadore.

Lignano Sabbiadoro's Parco Junior is the ideal place for every family on holiday looking to spend hours of fun with their children. Built in the 90s and located in the "City" of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Parco Junior covers a green area of over 25,000 square metres just a short walk from the pedestrian area.

Open on weekends and holidays from Easter to May and then every day till the end of September, Parco Junior offers a plethora of fun activities for children.

While the park entry is free and open to all, each of the individual attractions is paid. The park's central ticket office sells tokens for the rides or a "Happy day” daily bracelet: the delight of every child because it gives them unlimited access to all the park's attractions with the possibility to freely exit and enter the park.

There are various types of attractions immersed in the green of the park which are suitable for children of different ages: first there's Mixtreme, an adventure trail that climbs among the trees, of course at safe heights, there's the unmissable “Formula 1” track and, still with the “automotive” theme, there is a dirt road track children love driving on with “Jeep Safaris”.

Every year the park adds something new and special to entice children’s curiosity, such as the brand new "Fanfarone" and "Polpetta Boat" and - new 2021 - Crazy Sub, the craziest ever submarine!

The park also includes Junior Bar and Burger Circus, respectively a bar and a fast food restaurant where guests can enjoy an ice cream, a coffee, or lunch or dinner with burgers and chips. Burger Circus also has a small arena where shows and juggling are performed every day, with free admission.

The resorts on the beach offer a variety of evening entertainment options: cabaret, musicals, dance and group dance shows. Every evening the two resorts will provide you with a different and engaging show, starting from 10 pm.

The family run "I Gommosi" Play Park was created in 1999 in the "Parco del Mare" - Sea Park - area of Lignano Pineta.

In 2003 the play park was moved fifty metres and since then it has been continuously renovated.

Only children pay at the park and they can play freely on all of the inflatable games, without any time limits.

That means that parents can come and go from the play area as they please. For those that prefer to stay in the area, there is a park with benches and beach umbrellas.

Since last summer there has also been a café where you can sip on a fresh aperitif and organise birthday parties for your children!
