Sea&Taste - Paddling at Cona Island

Fresh water marshes, but also vast salty wetlands, beds of reeds, woods and prairies: the Foce dell'Isonzo Nature Reserve is the ideal habitat for many animal species, particularly birds, both migratory and non-migratory. Thus it is no coincidence that it's been recognized as the best area for birdwatching in all Italy. During the canoe tour you will experience the breath-taking beauty of its very heart, the Isola della Cona, home to the visitor center, and one of the most internationally-recognized sites of educational, scientific and naturalistic importance.

At the end of your tour a farewell aperitif will be held featuring a tasting of local wines at a nearby cellar part of the FVG Strada del Vino e dei Sapori.
