BASKET 3x3 WOMEN’S SERIES e NATIONS LEAGUE U23 Lignano 2019

Basket 3x3 is considered the urban team sport number 1 in the world. Since the first official event at the Youth Olympic Games of 2010, the FIBA had an ambitious vision of the game, managing to reach , June 9th 2017, the highest global recognition withthe admission in the Olympic Program, starting with the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, at Marcello d’Olivo square in Lignano Sabbiadoro, will take place two basket 3x3 international competitions organized by the International Federation FIBA:

-WOMAN’S SERIES 3X3

-NATIONS LEAGUE U23

At the event will partecipate 24 professional teams for a total amount of 96 atletes coming from all over the world. To regolate the event, will be set up two fields. The first oneis dedicated for the atlets’ warm-up and the second one for the real competition.

Each field measures 15x11 meters, aroud the main field will be prepared 3 galleries for a total amount of 400 seats, moreover will be used the existing stage as place for the atlets and the autorities.

Around the field won’t be set up any structure besides fence barriers. In addition to what has already been described, on the main field will be set up a lighting system consisting of 4 light towers, 1 large screen with 3x2 meters surface, sound system and 4 technical tents used as changing rooms and offices.
