Ernest Hemingway prize in Lignano Sabbiadoro is a prestigious litterary event yet arrived at its 33. Edition.
Ernest Hemingway prize is also the opportunity to discover or rediscover the beautiful landing place of one of the most important writers in the world.
Lignano Sabbiadoro and its lagoon were the place where Hemingway retired in different periods of his life, in fact the author of "The old man and the sea" deeply loved Venice and through the lagoon he discovered Lignano and its surroundings. He liked to define this part of Friuli Venezia Giulia "The Italian Florida". As thanksgiving, Lignano Sabbiadoro dedicated to Ernest Hemingway its public park and established the prize that can praise a gold book with very important names inside.
