From 11 to 13 March 2022 the swimming pool of the Bella Italia Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro will host the Italian stage of the Paralympic Swimming World Series.

The largest representative is of course the Italian one, with 54 swimmers, followed by Brazil with 41 and Mexico with 18.
Only Berlin, in the 2022 edition, had a greater number of participants.

The competition will take place in the Olympic indoor pool of the Bella Italia EFA Village, now a fixed stop for the World Series, with the Italian hosts defending the 13 golds won in the 2021 edition, with a particular eye on the Paralympic champion Antonio Fantin who it was in this pool that he began his career as a swimmer.

Together with Fantin, the Tokyo gold medals Simone Barlaam, Francesco Bocciardo, Carlotta Gilli, Stefano Raimondi, Giulia Terzi will go into the water. Among the foreigners, special observers of the Italian coach Riccardo Vernole Phelipe Rodrigues, Talisson Glock (BRA), Nelson Crispin (COL), direct opponents the first of Raimondi the second of Fantin, Mark Malyar (ISR), Liesette Bruinsma (NED)

The FINP Winter Absolute Championships will also take place simultaneously with the World Series: an authentic and unmissable feast of top-level sports that will provide the managers of the various national teams with useful information in view of the World Championships that will take place in Funchal (Madeira) from 12 to 18 June.
