Bike&Hike discovering Bibione, a fascinating journey between the banks of the two bordering regions of Veneto and Friuli Venezia-Giulia crossing the Tagliamento River.

EXCURSION DETAILS

The beginning of the tour will take us to the mouth of the Tagliamento River, which is the natural border between the Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Veneto regions.

After crossing the river with the X-River ferry, we will reach the Venetian shore of the same river.

Through the cycle path, we will easily reach the area of the nature reserve where the Bibione lighthouse is located; from here the route continues on foot along the paths that between the woods, the river and the sea allow you to discover this surprising coastal environment that is still perfectly preserved.

Before returning, a break is planned in a café that is right on the Venetian beach.

You can take part to the bike cycling tour to Bibione from the beginning of June till mid September, every Monday from 8.30 am to 1:00 pm.

The starting and return point is the Beach Village at the beach office 7 in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
